Blanche Taylor Moore was born in 1934 in Oklahoma. She was the youngest of three children, and her parents divorced when she was young. Moore was raised by her mother, who was a devout Christian. Moore attended church regularly and was considered a good girl.
In 1952, Moore married James Taylor. The couple had two children together. Moore was a stay-at-home mom, and Taylor worked as a truck driver. The couple's marriage was unhappy, and they often fought.
In 1966, Taylor filed for divorce. Moore was devastated. She begged Taylor to reconsider, but he refused. Moore became increasingly depressed and began drinking heavily.
On January 21, 1967, Moore murdered Taylor. She shot him in the head while he was sleeping. Moore then dismembered Taylor's body and buried his remains in the backyard.
Moore was arrested and charged with murder. She was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Moore died in prison in 1999.
